Offline scan, manual removal of what the scanners miss, startup and scheduled tasks checked, browsers reset and extensions audited. We clean rather than reinstall wherever we can, so you keep your files and settings.

The part most shops skip

If something had access, it had access to whatever was saved in your browser. We walk you through changing the passwords that matter, check your email account for forwarding rules someone else added, and turn on two-factor where it counts.

If you've been scammed

If you let someone remote in or paid for fake support, tell us — it changes what we check for. Remote access tools get removed, and we'll point you at Action Fraud and your bank. No judgement; it happens to careful people constantly.

Windows Defender plus sensible browser settings covers most people. We'll set it up properly rather than selling you a subscription that slows the machine down.

Questions about virus and malware removal

Will I lose my files?

Almost never. We clean in place wherever possible. If the infection is bad enough to need a reinstall we back your files up first and tell you before we start.

A pop-up says to ring a number. Should I?

No. That's the scam. Microsoft, Apple and BT do not put phone numbers in pop-ups. Close the browser and ring us instead.
